October 20, 2014 by The Canadian Press
CAE Inc. has signed a series of training and equipment contracts worth more than $200 million in total.
The value of the individual contracts wasn’t disclosed, and only a few customer names were disclosed by the Montreal-based company, which manufacturers full flight simulators and provides training services for commercial and military clients.
One of the contracts announced is a new 10-year agreement to provide training for Airbus A350 passenger jets for an unidentified airline group in the Americas.
CAE will also supply an A330 full-flight simulator to an undisclosed customer in Asia and provide simulator updates to a series of customers.
Air Algerie has signed a long-term contract for CAE to train 200 new pilot cadets, while Abu Dhabi Aviation has chosen it to supply a Bell 412EP full-flight simulator and training services.
