Nov. 18, 2014 – Macron Dynamics has introduced the TBG-12 and HBG-12 unit to its T-Bot and H-Bot gantry robot product lines.
According to the company, the new products are smaller, lighter, and designed to complete difficult jobs both efficiently and accurately. The lines consist of four pick and place linear robots that can be configured based on x-axis and y-axis travel. They operate on a single belt with fixed pulleys that drive both axes, and have a fixed, non-moving motor mounting location, which results in a lighter weight, lower inertia, and faster acceleration and deceleration, it adds.
