Aras releases Microsoft Azure certified cloud PLM suite

Jan. 6, 2015 – Aras has announced the availability of a Microsoft Azure Certified version of the Aras Innovator enterprise PLM solution in the Azure virtual machine gallery of cloud applications.

The new offering is designed to help global companies with an Azure account that need to quickly deploy a full PLM suite for the supply chain, joint ventures, fast moving product lines and other applications. With the Azure Certified version, companies can provision a secure, full-featured PLM solution in minutes, complete with bill of materials/BOM management, document management, revision and versioning, check-in/out file vaulting, item and file relationships, classification, configuration management, change workflows with effectivity, project portfolio dashboards, stage-gate project management and more, says the company. It describes Azure as the only major cloud platform ranked by Gartner as a leader for both infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS).
