The Imaging Source debuts 10 MP industrial camera

Jan. 19, 2015 – The Imaging Source, a manufacturer of machine vision cameras, has introduced its 10 MP industrial camera with a USB 3.0 interface.

Shipping with the Aptina MT9J003 sensor and a USB 3.0 interface, the camera claims to be the perfect solution for applications that require high resolution, high speed and outstanding image quality. The monochrome and colour cameras boast a great price/performance ratio and are suited various applications in production automation, quality assurance, and logistics. More than 10 image resolutions between VGA and 10 MP can be selected with a maximum frame rate of 7 fps at 10 MP, 30 fps at full HD and 94 fps at VGA. To attain optimal image quality in varying light conditions, a number of automatic modes can be set. All camera parameters and settings can be set via the shipped software. End-user applications, an SDK consisting of a .NET and ActiveX component and a C++ class library for Windows 8, 7, Vista and XP, and drivers for third party software including TWAIN, VfW, LabVIEW, MATLAB, ActivVisionTools, HALCON, VisionPro and NeuroCheck are included with the cameras.
