Rittal offers “most durable” stainless steel TS 8 yet

Feb. 2, 2015 – Rittal has announced the newest addition to its TS 8 freestanding enclosure series.
Constructed of 316 stainless steel, the UL Type 4X modular enclosure claims to be the most rugged and durable yet. The wash-down friendly, corrosion resistant enclosure promises to maintain a clean, consistent internal environment in extreme conditions without sacrificing the modularity, functionality, and innovation. According to the company, the unit features a four-point latching system; continuous foamed-in-place gasket for water- and dust-proof environmental seal; 30 per cent more available mounting space than traditional unibody enclosures of equal dimensions; padlock-able handle for easy access and security; overall load capacity of 3,150 lbs; and spring-loaded, quick-release hinges.
