Hammond Mfg names Sobotta VP North American sales & marketing

Mar. 12, 2015 – Hammond Manufacturing is welcoming Andreas Sobotta, an “experienced new talent,” as its vice-president North American sales and marketing, said the company, adding that it is focusing on “significant long-term growth” in both Canada and the United States.
“We look forward to working with such an experienced sales and marketing professional, and we are confident to reach our ambitious targets,” said Rob Hammond, chair and CEO.
Sobotta has held senior roles in the electrical/controls worlds for many years, including Festo vice-president of marketing, Siemens business unit manager, Phoenix Contact co-general manager/director of sales and marketing, and most recently, Davis Controls national sales manager.
“I am thrilled to join such a great company and be part of an excellent sales, marketing and management team,” he said.
