Baldor adds Ultra Kleen Tigear-2 to washdown family

Mar. 18, 2015 – Baldor Electric Company has introduced an addition to its washdown family of enclosed gear reducer products – the Baldor•Dodge Ultra Kleen Tigear-2. According to the company, the unit showcases a new standard for stainless steel gear reducers with an all-new sanitary design that is completely sealed against high pressure, high temperature and caustic washdown environments. It boasts all stainless steel construction, including a laser-etched nameplate for permanent, sanitary product identification, input ratings up to 5HP, and five available case sizes. The reducer is protected by a two-piece harsh duty output sealing system that includes an axial sealing lip for superior wear and contamination exclusion, and a rounded housing to prevent water pooling, it adds.
