CBW Automation offers SSE robot

Apr. 22, 2015 – CBW Automation, a designer and manufacturer of automation systems for the injection molding industry, has debuted the SSE robot, describing it as the company’s most technologically advanced robot available. With its high flow vacuum system, customers can achieve the fastest possible transfer of parts from mold to automation for down-stream operations, says CBW, adding that productivity is optimized with an intrusion time of less than 0.5 seconds. Additionally the SSE robot can recognize that the vacuum has been achieved in as little as 60 milliseconds. Meanwhile, a strip stroke allows for more complex mold and part geometries, undercuts to be stripped quickly, and the robot to follow the motion of the mold for unscrewing or more complex ejection of parts, it notes.
