Edge-to-edge detection eliminates ‘dead zone’

ImageKeyence’s new optical design transmits light just 5mm=0.20 inches above the edge. Almost no dead space is left even at the end of the light curtain. Conventional light curtains have a large dead space at the end due to connecting parts or supports structures and cables. Features include: Industry first Edge-to-Edge detection zone; 20mm (SL-CH) or 10mm (SL-CF) pitch; Built-in controller; 2 NPN or PNP transistor outputs (depends on which cables are used); Complies with CSA, OSHA, ANSI, JIS; IEC safety standards; and Connect up to 4 sets of curtains in series IP-65 rated enclosure.
