May 26, 2015 – FreePoint Technologies has been awarded the 2015 Techcellence Award for Innovation, an annual award presented by TechAlliance to a company in Southwestern Ontario that “develops new technologies that change the way business is done, or uses technology to solve an existing problem in an innovative way.”

Based in London, Ont., FreePoint says it is “not only changing the way information is collected off of the plant floor,” but also changing the way this information is used. Taking the company’s slogan of “Measure. Analyze. Share. Don’t forget to share.” to heart is the driving principal behind its technology, says Paul Hogendoorn, president of the company. Hogendoorn is also a regular contributor of the magazine with the column, Industry Watch.
