ISVI, 1stVision team up for distribution deal

Sept. 8, 2015 – ISVI, a designer and manufacturer of high-resolution camera technology, has announced the signing of a distribution agreement with 1stVision to address the North American automated imaging market with sales and support of its cameras.

“North America is a rapidly growing market for ISVI and we felt the need to create more reach in order to address the expanding application areas for our high-speed, high-resolution cameras,” said Gerard White, vice president of ISVI. “We are proud to announce our partnership with 1stVision. With its expert team of automated imaging sales and support engineers, as well as its multiple locations in the USA and Canada, 1stVision is very well positioned and respected in our industry. “ISVI brings to us a product line that will satisfy our clients who are pressing the limits of COTS cameras for high speed, high resolution applications,” added Scott Israel, president of 1stVision. “Because these cameras use standard AI interfaces such as CoaXPress and Camera Link, we can offer an easy to use solution.”

ISVI cameras are used in various application areas including robotics, AOI, 2D/3D metrology, SPI, wire bond inspection, wafer inspection, bio-mechanics, defence, aerospace, and general machine vision.

1stVision has been in business for the past 17 years. With three locations throughout Canada and the U.S., the company sells machine vision products for factory automation, medical imaging and other industrial imaging, machine vision applications.
