Sept. 14, 2015 – Festo’s NPQH fitting claim to withstand a range of extreme conditions, including those typically used during food production.

The NPQH series is food industry-compliant, heat resistant to 150 C, as well as promising to be resistant to chemicals including common cleaning agents and lubricants, and suitable for high pressure applications. Its electroless nickel plating means the surfaces are abrasion resistant and safe for use in the food industry, notes the company. With straight, L-, T- and Y-shape variants, the fitting’s resistance to microbes and hydrolysis also makes it highly suitable (and FDA compliant) for food and wet areas when combined with PUN-H tubing, adds Festo.
