Netzer DS-58 absolute position rotary encoder

Nov. 9, 2015 – Netzer‘s high performance Electric Encoder technology claims to suit a variety of applications ranging from space and avionics, through military and defence, to instrumentation and automotive.

The new DS-58 model features 18 bit resolution and boasts high tolerance to temperature, shocl, moisture, EMI, RFI and magnetic fields. According to the company, the non-contact, absolute-position encoders relies on interaction between the measured displacement and an internally shielded, space/time modulated, electric field, and feature absolute or incremental position feedback providing analogue or digital outputs.
