Bluetooth wireless connectivity for Omron F3SG-RA light curtain

Jan. 12, 2016 – Omron Automation and Safety says it has introduced a convenient wireless option for its F3SG-RA global safety light curtain: a plug-in Bluetooth transceiver unit that claims to eliminate downtime when the program needs to be changed.

The transceiver unit plugs into the top of the F3SG-RA light curtain receiver, which boasts “immediate connectivity” so operators can start programming with SD Manager 2 software quickly. The F3SG-RA can be used in the automotive and packaging/material handling markets, and promises to be easier to modify programming programming options.
