Sandvik Coromant names Sean Holt Americas president

Jan. 28, 2016 – Sandvik Coromant has announced Sean Holt as its new president of the Americas market area, describing him as an “experienced executive” in the manufacturing industry.

Holt was a member of the Americas Management team as the vice-president of engineering. He is now part of the Global Sales Management team reporting to Eduardo Martin, global vice-president of sales, whom he succeeds as the head of the Americas organization.
 
“Sean brings in-depth knowledge to all facets of our industry,” said Martin. “From business development and sales to engineering and R&D, I believe that his experience and skill set will be significant in delivering high-value solutions to our customers.”

Holt brings with him more than 20 years of engineering, business development, sales and executive management experience. He joined Sandvik Coromant in 2000 as a sales engineer in Birmingham, U.K. Since then, he has held several positions such as application development specialist and aerospace manager, market area Americas before taking on the position as vice-president of engineering, Market Area Americas in 2014.
