Vecoplan V-ECO shredder controls incorporates customer feedback

Feb. 29, 2016 – Vecoplan says it has re-engineered the control panels on its V-ECO shredder series, optimizing them for the North American market by incorporating features derived from customer feedback.
UL and CUL listed, REV 11C panels meet Safety Category 3 and Performance Level D standards, says Vecoplan. Operated through HMI touchscreens, the function controls promise to be “extremely user-friendly.” The panels are equipped with PowerFlex 525 and 755 variable frequency drives, and incorporate a Complete Ethernet Communication Suite that claims to maximize communication speed between drives and PLC. Upgraded to CompactLogix Control Processors, the new control panels can be “quickly and easily integrated” into existing plant wide automation systems, adds Vecoplan.
