Advantech launches ADAM-3600 Intelligent RTU

Mar. 8, 2016 – Advantech says its ADAM-3600 Intelligent RTU utilizes TagLink technology, a modular wireless expansion system, which allows engineers to “assign real meaning to the data they manage and makes it easier to maintain.”
According to Advantech, it frees users from processing raw data and provides a “unified interface” for different protocol servers, enabling engineers to use C programming, Softlogic, WebAccess, SCADA, or RESTful/HTML to communicate directly with third party devices. The ADAM-3600 with two Ethernet ports and three serial ports (one RS-485/422 and two RS-485). It features a temperature range of -40 C to 70 C and meets the requirements of Class I, Division 2 UL certification.
