Mitutoyo Canada offers free metrology mentorship workshops for 2016

Mar. 22, 2016 – Mitutoyo Canada will be running a series of free workshops throughout 2016 on various metrology related topics.
The workshops will appeal to machine operators, quality control inspectors, shop supervisors, metalworking manufacturing personnel, engineering managers and other manufacturing persons interested in learning or updating their knowledge, says the company.
Upcoming workshop topics include:
• Challenge the Experts (April 21) Bring your part, drawing or CAD file along with your questions to our measurement application specialists for inspection advice
• Why buy a CMM? (May 26) Understanding the elements of a CMM – accuracy specifications, probing systems and software applications, calibration and maintenance costs
• Gauge Calibration Workshop (June 16) How to determine the frequency of calibration, how to track and manage tool calibration data
