May 10, 2016 – Hoffmann-Krippner has announced tiny 4 mm displacement and position sensors for industrial, testing, agricultural and other applications.
Boasting differential sensing technology, the sensors promise to deliver precise path length measurements in applications with highly confined spaces. The actuation takes place via an unguided core, with the sensors being connected via a 1-mm cable, optionally available in other lengths. The contactless sensors for displacement and position detection achieve a linearity tolerance of ± 0.5 per cent (optionally 0.25 per cent) and are designed for measuring ranges of 1, 2.5 and 5 mm, says the company.
