May 10, 2016 – Toshiba America Electronic Components (TAEC) has launched the TLP2768A high-speed photocoupler which promises to offer protection against extreme operating temperatures.
The unit is capable of sustaining data rates up to 20 Mbps, says the company, making it suitable for use in high-speed communication interfaces in factory automation systems, measurement and control equipment and plasma display panels. Featuring an operating temperature range of -40 c to 125 C, the photocoupler offers a maximum height of 2.3 mm and a minimum isolation voltage rating of 5000Vrms. An open-collector output allows for both sink and source drive implementations.
