Absopulse introduces HVI-50-F2 DC-DC converters

May 9, 2016 – Absopulse Electronics has released the HVI-50-F2 series of 50W, high input voltage DC-DC converters.

The converters are suitable for operation in rugged industrial environments, says the company, adding that they can also be modified for solar and railway applications. The series accepts a nominal input voltage of 900Vdc, with a 600Vdc to 1200Vdc input range; standard outputs include 12Vdc, 24Vdc and 48Vdc. Cooling by con- duction and natural convection enables operation over a 0 C to 50 C temperature range without derating, says the company; higher temperatures can be accommodated on request.
