Omron launches E5DC programmable temperature controller

May 30, 2016 – Omron Automation and Safety has introduced the in-panel E5DC programmable temperature controller series.

At 22.5 mm wide, the E5DC promises to deliver the functionality of larger units in “significantly” less space. The white display allows operators to monitor each controller’s status without the typical multi-channel monitor used with other in-panel models, making the E5DC is “ideal for applications” with limited panel space and multiple zones to control, says Omron. Primary applications for the E5DC include industrial ovens and furnaces, boilers and chillers, plastic injection molding and paint booths in the packaging, food and beverage, automotive, semiconductor and heat treatment industries.
