Jun. 21, 2016 – Mitutoyo Canada will be hosting a series of complimentary workshops throughout 2016, that cover a range of metrology related topics.

The company says the workshops will appeal to machine operators, quality control inspectors, shop supervisors, metalworking manufacturing personnel, engineering managers and other manufacturing persons interested in learning or updating their knowledge.

Mark your calendar for the upcoming workshops:

• GD&T Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing – September 22
Location, location, location is important when making movies, but how does it apply in manufacturing? Learn the true definition of location tolerances, true position, symmetry, concentricity and applied measurement tools and techniques.

• Surface Finish – October 20
Surface texture 101. What do all those settings mean and how do they affect the test results? Understanding “cut-off,” skid versus skidless, and general parameters.

Field of view, working distance, telecentric… if these terms are confusing, then attend this seminar and get a clear vision and understanding.
