Jun. 24, 2016 – Robroy Enclosures, a subsidiary of Robroy Industries, has acquired the assets of Attabox Industrial Enclosures, a designer and  manufacturer of polycarbonate NEMA rated enclosures.

According to the parties, the acquisition will complement Robroy Enclosures’ current brand — Stahlin Non-Metallic enclosures — a player in the fiberglass electrical enclosure marketplace for more than 60 years.

Manufactured in the U.S., Attabox polycarbonate enclosures boast “extremely high-quality” engineered enclosures for the industrial, solar, electrical, telecommunications, HVAC, instrumentation/control, government, oil and gas, and construction markets. They meet NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and Type 6P standards, and are rated for IP68.

A joint communication issued by Jeff Seagle, president of Robroy Enclosures, and Bill Evatt, president of Attabox, states, “Our combined enclosures team is excited to bring another market leader — Attabox — into the Robroy Enclosures family. This polycarbonate addition will complement the Stahlin Non-Metallic fiberglass brand, which is also recognized as the best of its type in the industry. Having both manufacturers representing Robroy Enclosures will enable us to grow with the ultimate goal of offering the broadest and most specified non-metallic enclosure products in the world.”
