Freudenberg-NOK Tillsonburg facility earns sixth consecutive UTC Supplier Gold

Jul. 5, 2016 – For its sixth consecutive year, Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies’ Tillsonburg, Ont., facility has received United Technologies Corp.’s (UTC) Supplier Gold status for its “exceptional work in delivery, quality, lean practices and customer support.”

Supplier Gold is the highest level of supplier achievement used by UTC and is awarded to businesses that display: excellent customer service, on-time product delivery, best-in-class quality, cost and use of lean practices throughout operations.

“We are extremely happy that our Tillsonburg facility has consistently met and exceeded customer expectations in the highly demanding aerospace industry,” said Sean Morgan, global segment director, aerospace, Freudenberg-NOK. “We thank UTC for recognizing Tillsonburg as one of the best and most efficient plants in the aerospace industry.”

The plant, which supplies aerodynamic seals to UTC’s Pratt and Whitney Canada (PWC) operations, says it is the only seal supplier to earn the distinction six years in a row.
