Calex debuts AC powered signal conditioner 463

Jul. 12, 2016 – Calex Mfg has announced the availability of the Calex Model 463, a self-contained, AC powered signal conditioner for load cells and transducers utilizing full bridge strain gages.

Boasting a precision instrumentation amplifier with an isolated, filtered output, the signal conditioner provides an isolated 10 VDC output, and employs a high gain amplifier that can accept full scale live load signals as low as 5 mV, says Calex. According to Calex, the model’s excitation supply is capable of driving four 350 ohm load cells. The overall dimensions for the unit are 3.25 in. x 2.00 in. x 2.87 in. Calex is also offering a mounting kit for use in DIN Rail applications.
