Hexagon offers TIBOX customized enclosure for TIGO CMM

Jul. 18, 2016 – Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has released a customized protective enclosure for the TIGO SF shop-floor coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
According to the company, the TIBOX enclosure delivers “enhanced protection” for systems operating in the “most extreme workshop conditions,” and helps shield against common manufacturing environment contaminants, including dust, airborne pollutants, and oil particle suspension. The unit features transparent panels that claim to allow visual checks from every direction, while openings on three sides give users access to the measurement volume. Integrated lighting benefits operators working in dark or changeable light conditions, and a Signal Tower option boasts long-distance machine status monitoring.
