Jul. 22, 2016 – FiberMaxHP is a second-generation 3-6 axis photonics alignment platform built on Aerotech’s ANT nanopositioning product line.
According to the company, the unit is designed for critical photonics alignment in a highly automated, 24/7 production environment with “no compromise in speed, accuracy, and resolution.” Meanwhile, FiberMaxHP noncontact direct-drive technology boasts high-precision alignment capable of 2 nm linear and 0.05 µrad rotary minimum incremental motion, with speeds to 400 mm/s. The FiberMaxHP is available with 3-6 axes of direct-drive alignment allowing the platform to be specified with the exact number of axes needed for the application, says Aerotech.
