Rittal adds IRU cage nut assembly for enclosures

Aug. 10, 2016 – Rittal has added a 19-in. cage nut fastener for enclosures (PN 2090000) to its parts offerings. 



The 1RU cage nut assembly consists of a three-in-one expanding nut that is attached using the centre nut for the square attachment hole, then secured by hand with the fastener screw. The tightened screws expand the cage nuts to secure the required components, says Rittal, adding that six cage nut assemblies can be installed in the time it takes to place two capture nuts, all without tools. The fastener cage nut is compatible with 19-in. enclosure rails that meet EIA 310 standards.
