Cicoil introduces flat servo cables for semiconductor automation

Aug. 24, 2016 – Rated for Class 1 Clean Room Environments, Cicoil’s flexible servo motor, feedback and resolver cables promise to be free of halogens, excel when utilized in continuous motion applications, and not shed surface particulates.

This combination of features, says Cicoil, makes its flat servo cables the “ideal choice” for use in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, surface mount automation and clean room robotic systems. Each flat servo cable can incorporate shielded feedback pairs, power conductors, Cat 5e/Cat 6A, USB, tubing for liquid or air transfer, coax and Cicoil’s StripMount fastening strip, all in a single cable design. Custom and standard cables are available in continuous lengths, cut to order, or as assemblies, complete with the end-user’s connector of choice.
