Ethernet communication module added to AutomationDirect C-more Micro line

Sept. 7, 2016 – AutomationDirect’s C-more Micro line of operator interfaces now includes the EA-ECOM communication expansion module.

Designed for EA3-series C-more Micro panels, the interface adds an Ethernet RJ45 port for programming and PLC communications at 10/100 Mbps. According to AutomationDirect, the module attaches to the rear of all EA3-series panels and requires no external power. The EA-ECOM module promises to provide faster project download and firmware update speeds and support multiple connections to multiple PLCs and protocols.
