Advantech offers IDS31 industrial touch monitor series

Sept. 7, 2016 – Advantech has released its IDS31 industrial touch monitor series boasting flexible mechanical design, ruggedness, long life and extended availability.

Ranging from 7 in. to 32 in. in both 4:3 and 16:9 sizes, the open frame chassis system is designed for rear mounting to existing panels or new designs. The IDS31’s design allows for both touch and non-touch versions says Advantech, adding that it can also be adapted to alternate touch technologies such as surface capacitive or surface acoustic wave for low minimum order quantities and without the need for additional NRE costs. As well, the series has an optional black powder coated cover to enable the user to specify a closed frame construction allowing surface, pole, arm, or other standard VESA mounting systems. The IDS31 series is fitted with its own video interface card, DVI/VGA inputs, optional USB for touchscreen interfaces.
