Sept. 9, 2016 – Chromasens says its trueSCAN print inspection system is the first system that facilitates inline colour measurement by using “innovative” Chromasens line scan technology.
The system is comprised of five truePIXA multi-spectral cameras that promise to achieve a scanning width of 880 mm, along with the company’s Corona II ultra-high brightness illumination. Sub-modules make up the trueSCAN system to provide a scalable scanning width boasting “greater performance and precision.” According to the company, the key to the system’s success are the truePIXA cameras that “merge high-speed imaging with the colour measurement accuracy of a spectrometer,” adding that the cameras enable inline colour measurement by employing 12 colour channels.
