James Weir appointed VP sales for SYSPRO Canada

Oct. 31, 2016 – SYSPRO, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software provider, has appointed James Weir as vice-president of sales, where he will report to president James Moffatt.

In this role, Weir will work to accelerate SYSPRO Canada’s revenue growth and short- and long-term sales operational strategy execution for the company. He will be based out of SYSPRO Canada’s central office location in Mississauga, Ont.

Weir has previously led small and large sales organizations in the technology sector including Merisel, Sage and Emergence Corp., a Bermuda-based ERP reseller. Most recently, he served as vice-president of sales for the Americas for Identos, an organization focused on platform as a service (PaaS) offering end-point security and mobile encryption technologies.
