Oct. 31, 2016 – SYSPRO, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software provider, has appointed James Weir as vice-president of sales, where he will report to president James Moffatt.

In this role, Weir will work to accelerate SYSPRO Canada’s revenue growth and short- and long-term sales operational strategy execution for the company. He will be based out of SYSPRO Canada’s central office location in Mississauga, Ont.

“We are thrilled to have someone of James’ caliber and respected track record of sales leadership join our thriving organization to drive the expansion of Syspro in the marketplace even further,” said Moffatt. “We believe James’ experience as a proven sales leader and his broad range of strategic sales management skills, will prove invaluable for SYSPRO’s continued success, and help us with our ongoing initiative to create a roadmap based on growth, customer optimization and integrated sales.”

“I am honoured to be a part of SYSPRO’s highly-respected executive team,” said Weir. “SYSPRO’s combination of award-winning technology and an extremely talented, energetic and focused group, in a market space that offers tremendous growth potential, makes for a winning organization. I look forward to working with them to build upon the strong foundation that has been established to date, in helping the company deepen and broaden its best-in-class value proposition of improving business performance, productivity and profitability to its growing network of manufacturing business executives.”
