Nov. 7, 2016 – Dialight has joined the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork, making it the first LED lighting supplier in the Encompass Product Referencing Program.
The Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork program offers global manufacturers access to a collaborative network of companies mutually focused on developing, implementing and supporting best-in-breed solutions to achieve plantwide optimization, improve machine performance, and meet sustainability objectives.
With built-in support for EtherNet/IP (EIP) networking and the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP), Dialight’s lighting controls can be integrated with other systems within a facility, allowing site managers to consolidate control systems and simplify maintenance procedures.
“The compatibility with Rockwell Automation systems will enable industrial facilities to leverage the energy- and maintenance-saving benefits of Dialight high-performance LED lighting with ease and simplicity,” said the lighting provider in a statement.
“We are extremely pleased to formalize our partnership with Rockwell Automation by joining the Encompass program,” said Michael Sutsko, Dialight’s group chief executive. “Not only does Dialight’s membership help facilities upgrade with ease to more efficient and economical lighting with a fixture and controls partner they can trust, but it also means they can come to Dialight with the confidence in knowing they’ll get a seamlessly compatible, exceptionally reliable product that’s become the LED product of choice in hundreds of thousands of fixture installations around the world.”
