Nov. 15, 2016 – Joe Vorih has been announced as the new president of Omega Engineering, a manufacturer and supplier of process measurement and control products.

Describing him as a manufacturing and technology industry visionary, Omega said Vorih’s priority will be to transform the company from “the best-known direct provider of process sensors into a web-based global partner for complete process measurement and control solutions, including innovative wireless and IIoT-ready offerings.”

“For over 50 years Omega has been a brand recognized for quality, customer service and technical support,” said Vorih, who has held various leadership roles at Clarcor Engine Mobile Solutions, Stanadyne, Danaher Corporation, and Danaher Motion. “I’m excited about the possibilities in our future and honoured to have the opportunity to lead a company with the reputation of Omega into yet another chapter of its growth.”

Last week, the company announced it had relocated its world headquarters from Stamford to Norwalk, Conn.
