Clarcor debuts DustHog Plug-n-Play cartridge dust collector

Nov. 17, 2016 – Clarcor Industrial Air launches the DustHog Plug-n-Play cartridge dust collector, describing it as a convenient, clean air solution for numerous manufacturing processes including welding, robotic weld cells, plasma and laser cutting, stone, bulk powders and more.
The touchscreen controller promises to simplify operation and maintenance, while the Auto Flow option measures airflow and automatically adjusts the fan speed to maintain a specified target airflow as the process or filter pressure drop changes. The unit is powered with the new ProTura DH nanofiber filter media which claims to be “highly efficient” (MERV 15) and capable of capturing respirable, submicron particulate. ProTura DH filters feature surface loading technology which reduces compressed air consumption during filter cleaning and promotes extended filter life.
