Nov. 28, 2016 – Eplan has launched a new version of its Eplan Education software, based on the latest release of its platform 2.6 suite of engineering software products.

Eplan Education Campus now provides a network license for up to 300 users and three instructors, a 12-fold increase in user access over previous versions. Developed for schools and colleges, the training concept includes software solutions for electrical, fluid power, instrumentation, control and automation (ICA), and control cabinet engineering. According to the company, training for instructors and comprehensive support by the Eplan team of experts make it easy to integrate the Eplan Education Campus package into teaching plans. Instructors can refer to lesson plans, practical assignments, handouts for students and sample exam questions, including answers. Students and trainees using the program receive a free download license for the duration of their training. It also includes the full use of the Eplan Data Portal, which currently has more than 630,000 data sets from component manufacturers plus 1.2 million variants generated via configurators accessible through the portal.
