Automation Precision names Song Chung SVP, global sales & marketing

Dec. 2, 2016 – Song Chung has hired as the new senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Automated Precision Inc., as announced by Dr. Kam Lau, owner and CEO.

Song Chung comes to Automated Precision after a 20-year career with Perceptron, where he was most recently the senior vice president and chief technology officer. During this time at Perceptron, Chung also served as vice-president engineering, director of sales, and managing director of Perceptron Asia and Perceptron Korea.

“We are confident that Song Chung will bring to Automated Precision his broad portfolio of technical experience, sales know-how and management capabilities that will enable API to continue to grow the business in the broader industrial markets where our sales solutions for dimensional gauging, dimensional inspection and 3D scanning have the greatest potential,” said Lau.
