AutomationDirect adds self-adjusting crimping tools

Dec. 5, 2016 – AutomationDirect has added self-adjusting crimping tools to its line of wiring accessories.

Describing them as “lightweight, compact and comfortable,” the tools are designed for crimping ferrules and wire end sleeves. Available in square and hexagonal crimp styles, these crimp tools boast ergonomically shaped handles with hardness and surface textures for “comfortable” frequent use, a non-slip grip pad for applying pressure against a surface, and ratchet action to ensure crimps are completed according to specification. The self-adjusting crimping tools are designed for insulated and non-insulated ferrules, and adjust to wires sizes from 26AWG to 8AWG.
