AutomationDirect offers ProSense XTP temperature transmitters

Mar. 19, 2017 – AutomationDirect has expanded its line of ProSense temperature sensors to include the XTP series of temperature transmitter probes.

The series boasts a precision RTD sensing element and transmitter electronics in a single stainless steel temperature transmitter probe. Offered in three preconfigured temperature measuring ranges, AutomationDirect says the XTP series transmitter probes are ready to use right out of the box. Users can choose from four standard probe insertion lengths (30, 50, 100 or 150 mm) and two integral male NPT thread sizes (1/4-in. or 1/2-in.) that allow direct mounting to the process or thermowells. An M12 quick-disconnect allows connection to the loop powered 4-20 mA output signal that provides a linear representation of measured temperature compatible with PLCs, SCADA systems, and digital panel meters.
