Pilz PSENopt slim promises protection for narrow spaces

May 6, 2017 – Boasting a slim line design, the Pilz PSENopt slim is designed for applications where space is at a premium, says Pilz.

The company says the super slim line light beam devices provide finger and hand protection, depending on the requirement, up to the highest Performance Level, while protecting against encroachment into and behind the protected area. Using the LED display, operators can identify the main causes responsible for the machine stop, so operators can increase the availability of a machine, explains Pilz. A range of accessories is also available for PSENopt slim, including deviating mirrors and test rods. There is a range of unit types to cover the various applications: design engineers can choose between Type 2 and Type 4 light as well as corresponding types for finger and hand protection. It is possible to choose between different protected field heights – from 150 mm to 1200 mm.
