Artila debuts Matrix-710 Linux-ready IoT gateway for M2M applications

May 20, 2017 – Artila Electronics has launched the Matrix-710 box computer, based on ARM Cortex-A5, which it says is suitable for industrial control, automation gateway, mobile gateway, and smart energy applications.

According to the company, the Matrix-710 adapts the technology of ARM processor coupled with the open Linux operating system, which provides the backbone for smart IoT solutions. To achieve the need for M2M application, it equips the Wi-Fi, cellular modems which allow Internet connectivity and GPS for location information transition. As well, the Matrix-710 offers a miniPCIe slot and a variety of interfaces, including Gigabit and 10/100 Ethernet, up to three High-Speed USB ports, dual CAN, several SDIO/SD/MMC, UARTs, SPIs, and TWIs for users to connect a variety of peripheral devices.
