
Penmar expands engineering and panel design/build services

Newmarket, Ont.’s Penmar Automation Inc. has expanded their Engineering and Panel Design/Build services to deliver a complete offering of high-end, complex engineering capability as well as all of the associated panel design and building capabilities.
In order to fulfill this new mandate, Chris Elden has joined Penmar Automation to develop and lead these expanded service capabilities. He has an extensive background in electrical project engineering based on seven years experience as an electrical engineering manager with Electrotech Controls Ltd. and two years experience as an electrical engineering technologist with Soft Design Automation in Brampton, Ont.
Specifically, he has direct experience with the system integration of PLC and HMI products for the development of tailormade automation solutions using Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi and Digital systems and components.
These expanded services will now allow Penmar Automation to directly deliver these services to clients in order to further lower their costs for the engineering and panel design/build portions of automation, manufacturing line and overall plant electrical and safety upgrade projects.
