Rockwell to present smart machine tech at Pack Expo 2017

Sep. 25, 2017 – Attendees at this year’s Pack Expo Las Vegas, held on September 25-27, can learn about the latest technology for smart machines offered by Rockwell Automation. During show-floor presentations and in-booth demonstrations, machine and equipment builders can discover how to build smart packaging machines with independent cart technology, analytics software and more.

Attendees also can see Rockwell Automation technology in action on the show floor. MagneMotion, a Rockwell Automation company, will be featuring its independent cart technology, iTRAK and MagneMover Lite. Designed for the precise movement, positioning and tracking of loads, these modular, scalable motion control systems promise to increase throughput and efficiency in applications, such as packaging, pharmaceutical manufacturing, sterile and aseptic filling, lab automation and medical device manufacturing.
 
FactoryTalk Analytics for Machines from Rockwell Automation, a Cloud-enabled capability that helps equipment builders collaborate with their customers, will also be on display. The FactoryTalk Analytics for Machines application works to simplify remote monitoring by gathering data, analyzing performance analytics and providing the information needed to help improve machine performance, monitor maintenance and reduce downtime.
