Oct. 13, 2017 – Mars Canada has completed a major expansion project at its food processing plant in Bolton, Ont., creating 37 new jobs.
The Bolton site makes ready-to-heat rice and grain products under the Uncle Ben’s and Seeds of Change brand names.
Mars Food Canada general manager David Dusangh said the expansion added 50,000 square foot of floor space at the plant, helping to meet growing demand for both product lineups.
The project is the company’s second multimillion-dollar Ontario investment project of 2017. This spring, the company opened an expanded chocolate plant in Newmarket.
