Reko names Mark Read director of automation division

Dec. 5, 2017 – Reko International Group has hired Mark Read as director of the automation division, succeeding Rick Stone, who is retiring after almost 29 years of service.

Read has 31 years of experience in the automation industry including senior positions at ATS Automation in the automotive, life science and energy sectors.

“His diverse experience and leadership expertise will be another important factor in the successful growth and diversification of our automation division. He will be joining our innovative team that designs, builds, installs and supports robotic and non-robotic automation equipment globally,” says the company.

Read joins the company as the automation division is preparing to move into its new facility early next year.

Located in Southwestern Ontario, Reko International Group is a diversified, technology-driven manufacturing organization. Its areas of expertise include robotic factory automation solutions, machining of large, critical parts, and plastic injection and low compression acoustic tooling.
