Tru-Vu offers waterproof touchscreen SRMHTRWP-17C

Feb. 17, 2018 – Tru-Vu Monitors, a supplier of industrial-grade LCD monitors and touchscreens, has released a 17-inch waterproof sunlight readable panel-mount touchscreen monitor designed to operate in nearly any environment.

The SRMHTRWP-17C features 1000 nits of brightness, enabling it to be used both outdoors in direct sunlight, and indoors where bright lighting is present, says the company. With operating temperatures of -22° to 185°F, the monitor can be used in both hot and freezing environments. According to the company, the waterproof stainless steel panel-mount enclosure enables it to be flush-mounted into a wall, door or cabinet, and is resistant to wash-down, saltwater and rain.

The model features an ambient light sensor, which adjusts the screen brightness automatically. It also has auto restart after power loss. According to Tru-Vu, the unit is suited for use in manufacturing plants, machine vision inspection systems, packaging machines, paper and converting machines, pipeline inspection systems, and more.
