Feb. 28, 2018 – Metal stamping and forming company M.A. Metal has purchased and installed a new eX-CFR 4500W resonator CO2 Mitsubishi Laser machine in its Indiana facility, which it says will cut thicker material and increase cutting speeds.

“We are excited to have this new Mitsubishi Laser in our facility,” said Ronnie Burton, sales manager, M.A. Metal. “The increased power and new features of the eX-CFR laser will help increase our capabilities and open up opportunities for more capacity; these are both essential components for our company growth.”

Mitsubishi describes the 4500W resonator as delivering a unique pulse for a sharper beam, cleaner parts and 90 per cent lower gas consumption. It says that many laser machines are in excellent condition but are limited by aging resonators, adding that upgrading the resonator can improve piercing time and reduce maintenance and operation costs.
