Morgan Truck Body plans new Connecticut plant

Mar. 29, 2018 – Morgan Truck Body, a manufacturer of medium-duty truck bodies, is expanding its manufacturing footprint into New England.

Equipment move-in will begin this summer, with plans to open and become operational during Q4 2018. It will be capable of supporting production of a combination of 3,000 dry freight and reefer truck bodies annually. The facility will encompass over 175,000 square feet and Morgan expects to employ approximately 140 team members.

The new facility will be Morgan’s 13th location and Morgan says there are plans to add a 14th in the Midwest in the near future.
